NIGER DELTA UNIVERSITY (NDU) CUT OFF MARK 2020/2021 (Departmental Cut Off Point For All Courses)

By this notice candidates are informed that should they score 160 and above in their 2020 UTME they will be eligible to purchase the PUTME screening exercise form and take part in the screening exercise. Brief History of Niger Delta University (NDU)
Niger Delta University (NDU) is a Bayelsa state government supported university situated in Wilberforce Island, Bayelsa State, South-South, Nigeria. Through supported law, the University came into being in 2000 under the former administrative leader and governor of Bayelsa state Chief DSP Alamieyeseigha, but started academic work in 2001/2002 with 1,500 students, seven faculties and a College of Health Sciences. The university has three campuses (Gloryland campus, Yenagoa Campus and Amassoma Campus). It additionally has its teaching hospital known as Niger Delta University Teaching Hospital (NDUTH) in Okolobiri.
Despite the fact that at inception the University started with seven faculties and about 1500 students, her student population has increased over the years and is at present estimated to be around 16,000. Likewise, she currently has about 65 departments brought about by the addition of few other faculties added to the list. She currently has the following faculties;

Niger Delta University’s main campus is in Amassoma in a temporary site with work progressing at the permanent site. The university offers degree programs at undergraduate, postgraduate and Doctoral level. It is licensed, accredited and recognized by the National Universities Commission (NUC) and currently ranks 84 in the country.

NDU GENERAL ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
To be eligible for admission into the first degree program in NDU, candidates should have the following requirements;
- five credit passes in not more than two sittings in any of the following examinations; GCE, WASCE, NECO, NABTEB or their equivalent
- Obtain the minimum cut-off score of 160 in UTME
- Meet the various departmental registration requirements
- Candidates must have the right subjects combination in UTME
- NDU must be your first choice or second choice University.
NDU DEPARTMENTAL CUT OFF MARK 2020/2021
The official departmental cut off mark for 2020/2021 have not been released by Niger Delta University (NDU). However, candidates who score 160 and above will be eligible to take part in the PUTME screening exercise. Updates will be made on this post as soon as the information is available so stay glued for more information.
PROCEDURE FOR REGISTRATION OF FRESH STUDENTS
Students who were successful in the screening exercise and have been offered provincial admission are to immediately accept their admissions then commence their clearance and registration of courses as applicable to their respective departments. The procedure for the registration of students is as follows:
i. Go to NDU home page and Click ‘Portal’
ii. Click on ‘Admission Clearance’ to complete the online clearance using the following required documents which must be scanned and attached in jpeg/jpg format;
a. WAEC/NECO/SSCE/GCE/NABTEB, etc (combined results in not more than two (2) sittings)
b. A signed letter of recommendation of good behavior
c. Two (2) signed attachment letters addressed to THE REGISTRAR, NIGER DELTA UNIVERSITY, WILBERFORCE ISLAND, BAYELSA STATE, NIGERIA.
d. Birth certificate/age declaration
e. Identification letter of Local government of origin
iii. The following Documents are required for Verifications at NDU
a. Original copy of NDU admission letter
b. Original JAMB admission letter printed from JAMB website
c. Signed acceptance form
d. All original of documents used for the online clearance
iv. After the successful completion of the online registration and certification process, the following documents are issued;
a. A Personal Data form which should be taken to the examination and records department for signature
b. A Clearance Certificate which should also be taken to the admissions Officer for signature.
